Alright I made it through the 8 day challenge. I lost 6 lbs and 10 inches overall. That is pretty awesome. Day 9 and 10 are cheat days within reason of the plan. It was awesome today to mix it up a little with some Mexican food, pizza, and some random items. I feel great. I get 1 more cheat day tomorrow, then I am off to days 11-30 back on my strict regiment of weight loss, life changing and habit-forming in the way I eat, and now I will begin incorporating exercise.
1 lb at a time, 1 meal at a time, and 1 day at a time has helped me stay focused and on task with my life style change in how I eat now. My blood sugars continue to be amazing with eating on plan, lots of energy and overall attitude with life has improved, not so grouchy anymore from blood sugars not being in a good spot.
Got to get some rest, so I can get in as close to 8 hours as I can. Recommend some nice warm herbal green tea.
Stay tuned as the transformation continues…
OK so my goal is to write everyday. I will get there, but man life, work, kids, it has been difficult to get away to post. Today is day 6 of being on my new way of eating to improve my health. I am down 5 pounds, and I have more energy than I have had in like 7 months. My blood sugars are stable and normal levels, I am sleeping much better, and enjoying life more. 3 more days to go of my 8 day ignite plan, then on to the next week.
I try to make my family amazing, and delicious meals to eat, and I will admit it has been difficult at times not to want to eat my creations with them. But, once I get past these initial beginning stages, my new plan opens up some more, and I plan on making some amazing seafood dishes for our family that I can enjoy with them. Staying positive, feeling up beat, exciting to see the pounds continue to burn off. I am ready to be thin, and keep it off for life.
Next, begin incorporating more exercise into my routine each week. Words of encouragement to anyone out their who has extra weight they want off that they have struggled with their whole life. Take it one day at a time, 1 pound at a time, join me in working to reclaim the rest of your life, have the body you want, and be healthy.
A motto that I have heard that is so true “Eat to Live, Not Live to Eat”, reprogramming my brain and body from my old ways of thinking and eating! Ok Day 7 here we come.
Time for change. Yeah I know you’re seeing the word Xyngular, and probably wondering what is that? I was in the same boat when I had a dear friend introduce me to a wonderful couple who are Coaches for this program. I have literally tried most other programs, fad diets, Veganism, you name it to reclaim my life, health and be free from Type 2 diabetes. I want to be able to enjoy my life without having this horrible cloud of diabetes hanging over me.
It has also been a dream of mine to be very fit, and one day body build for my health and wellbeing. So, back to the program, my buddy knows me very well, and knows how badly I want to lose weight, and be around for my kids for many years to come. He introduced me to an amazing couple that I am looking forward to getting to know, and have support me in this endeavor. The product is really amazing, and not difficult to use, and has tried, and true results from the research that I have done.
Next Step tomorrow morning is day 1. Tonight I took my measurements, before photos, weight comes in the morning and we are off to a whole new me. I never thought on my blog I would be putting up weight loss posts, but I want you to join me on this journey, and learn with me the victories, struggles, and overall success.
I don’t know about any of you out there in cyberspace, but I am one who is ready for a huge change for good. I want to be able to purchase my clothes anywhere, fit comfortably on any plane ride, never have to worry about taking diabetes meds again, and be a healthy fully active dad with my kids.
